Guidelines for the September Harry Potter contest:

Harry spent the first eleven years of his life wishing for some unknown relative to show up and rescue him from the Dursleys. Though he ended up with a godfather, no blood relatives ever did turn up. So this month's contest is:

A story where we find out that Harry has a previously-unheard of living blood relative other than the Dursleys, or that one is still alive that he thought was gone forever. Can be someone he knows (Harry Potter-the long lost Weasley Triplet!) or someone he's never even heard of, or even a terrible enemy. Maybe he never finds out they're there, and the reader is the only one who knows. Maybe they save him and take him away. The point is, the story should be about Harry's family, and how he really does have someone out there, even if he doesn't know it.
