Yes, I know originals aren't technically fan fiction, but what about all those writers who aren't fans of the same things I am?

Guidelines for the September "Originals" Contest:
It seems like all you see nowadays in original stories by young people is angst, angst, angst. Boo hoo. It gets boring really fast, folks. So the Original contest this month will be:
Write a COMEDY. A side-splitting, face-cracking, hilarious joke fest. The funniest one will be the winner.
And just for a challenge, make it contain:
A roll of duct tape
The words "quaint", "plethora", "apopleptic", and "caviar".
The sound a cat makes when you crush its tail with a rocking chair. Doesn't actually have to be made by a cat.
